All these attacks are aimed at one thing…destroying the hard fought for pay and conditions of generations of Australian workers, and their unions!
BIG BUSINESS AND THEIR ASSOCIATIONS ARE BEHIND THE ATTACKS!
It’s not just Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull and the Liberals, or a handful of crossbench senators such as Derryn Hinch and Nick Xenophon. The real culprits are big business and their industry bodies (Business Council of Australia etc.) who are pulling the strings. It’s the faceless corporations and their board members and shareholders who stand to gain from workers having lower wages, bad conditions, no rights, and weaker unions. The politicians are just the talking puppets.
CONSTRUCTION WORKERS LEAD THE WAY FOR ALL AUSTRALIAN WORKERS!
Construction workers are the strongest and most organised section of workers in Australia currently. It falls on all of us to lead by example and show the way forward for all Australian workers. Attacks on our conditions and unions are going to intensify in the near future. The only answer is united and militant resistance! When injustice becomes law, defiance becomes duty!

Now more than ever workers and unions must look to their greatest strength; each other!
Unions need to rely on their members and fellow unions. The solution is not just relying on parliamentary parties. Only an independent and united union movement that fights for what’s best for the working class can push back the relentless attacks of big business.
